SEQUINS ARE SYNTHETIC SPIKE-IN CONTROLS TO USE WITH NEXT-GENERATION SEQUENCING.

Sequins can be used to represent any genome, transcriptome or metagenome feature. They provide internal sample-specific controls that can assess almost any step during the NGS workflow, measure diagnostic statistics, provide internal reference ladders and enable normalisation between many samples.
